Gemma Long for Elstead & Peper Harow

Standing on Thursday 4th May for the villages of Elstead and Peper Harow

Gemma Long, Lib Dem candidate for Waverley Borough Council is standing for election on Thursday 4th May to be your local representative in Elstead and Peper Harow, and fight for the services our villages need.

All of our candidates are standing behind our Building Opportunity manifesto to deliver better public services, quality social housing and investment into our high streets and training.

Long-standing Elstead resident Gemma is standing for election to Waverley Borough Council in the Elstead & Peper Harow ward.

Gemma is a qualified solicitor, have spent most of her life locally and is the only candidate who lives in Elstead.

Her passion lies in protecting the environment and preserving our precious natural resources for future generations. With a background in the renewable energy sector, Gemma has experience of setting up community energy programmes which enable residents to share in reduced energy prices whilst protecting the environment. She is keen to support the work of the council in reducing its own environmental impact, and helping residents with the transition to Net Zero.

Previously, Gemma helped set up a local community project for teens with mental health issues and worked to get support for children with special educational needs.

Gemma is eager to see better representation for the village and promises to be an active voice for residents at the borough council.
