Our Farncombe and Catteshall team

On Thursday 4th May, Penny and Alex are standing for Farncombe and Catteshall at Waverley Borough Council and Godalming Town Council elections to help shape our area and continue delivering for residents.

All of our candidates are standing behind our Building Opportunity manifesto to deliver better public services, quality social housing and investment into our high streets and training.

Penny Rivers

Penny Rivers is standing for re-election to Waverley Borough Council and Godalming Town Council.

Penny traces her political roots to her birthplace of Jamaica, where, as a child she met Sir Alexander Bustamante, the first Prime Minister after Independence in 1962.

First elected in 1995, she served on the Town Council for 16 years and again since 2017 on all three local councils. Penny actively supports a wide range of community groups, working to ensure every resident is represented and treated fairly and equally because people, place and planet matter!

Keep up with Penny's activities on Facebook.

Alex Adam

Alex is standing for re-election to Godalming Town Council.

First becoming a councillor in 2019, Alex is keen to protect his area, give Farncombe residents a voice and make the village a better place to live.

He brings experience from working in central government and his current role at a small conservation charity, which he would be able to bring to the council to improve our area.

Follow Adam on Facebook to see what he's working on.
