Our Godalming Holloway team

On Thursday 4th May, Adam and Joan are standing for the ward of Godalming Holloway at Waverley Borough Council and Godalming Town Council elections to help shape our area and continue delivering for residents.

All of our candidates are standing behind our Building Opportunity manifesto to deliver better public services, quality social housing and investment into our high streets and training.

Adam Duce

Adam Duce is standing for election to Waverley Borough Council and Godalming Town Council.

As well as his career in education, where he works at Godalming College, Adam’s interest in politics started in 2017 and he quickly stepped up to become a Town Councillor in Godalming. He’s overseen the new Youth Service and has also worked to bring both Godalming Parkrun and Pride in Surrey to our town.

Standing for election this year, Adam wants to focus on extending access to the Youth Service to more areas of the town and use his professional experience as Director of Progression at Godalming College to develop Waverley’s training services.

Joan Heagin

Joan Heagin is standing for re-election to Godalming Town Council.

A committed volunteer in a variety of roles, Joan can often be found at Citizens Advice Waverley, helping residents.

Improving quality of life for residents has also been the focus of her work as a councillor, especially in housing, leisure and planning.
