John Robini for Haslemere

John Robini is standing for re-election on Thursday 1st May 2025 to be your local representative in Haslemere.

I am John Robini. I was born in Surrey and spent 43 years working with Surrey Police. I live in Haslemere with my wife, Cllr Jacquie Keen, am father to two grown-up daughters and enjoy gardening and photography.

I have been proudly serving my local community for many years – I am currently a Surrey County Councillor, a Waverley Borough Councillor and a Haslemere Town Councillor. As a County Councillor, I have repaired roads and potholes, supported the library and Haslewey and have gained funding for many local projects. I am active on many committees, including the parenting board and the standards and planning committees; I also chair the Surrey Police Panel.

As well as being a trustee of Crossways Counselling Service, I proudly support many local community events and have been both Mayor of Waverley Borough and Mayor of Haslemere. I would like to be re-elected as a County Councillor in order to support the local community and to help the Liberal Democrats bring about change to Surrey County Council.
