Waverley Infrastructure Petition

Invite Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Visit Waverley

📢 Invite Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Visit Waverley đź“˘

The residents of Waverley’s rural villages and towns—including Cranleigh, Alfold, Godalming, Haslemere, and Farnham—are calling for urgent attention to be directed towards the worsening infrastructure crisis affecting our communities.

For years, we have endured:

đź’§ Burst water mains that disrupt daily life and close roads without notice.

đź’© Sewage flooding into gardens and homes during heavy rainfall.

🌊 Polluted rivers harming our environment and public health.

⚡ Inadequate electricity networks unable to meet the needs of our growing population.

🛣️ Crumbling roads that make travel unsafe and inconvenient for residents.

Despite years of unprecedented housing growth, there has been little to no investment in the infrastructure required to support these developments. This is not just a rural issue affecting villages like Cranleigh and Alfold; even towns like Godalming, Haslemere, and Farnham are feeling the impact of this neglect.

We are calling on Prime Minister Keir Starmer to visit Waverley, hear from our residents, and see firsthand the devastating effects of this infrastructure crisis. His visit would send a powerful message that the government recognises the challenges both rural and urban communities face—and is committed to addressing them.

Sign this petition to urge Keir Starmer to come to Waverley, listen to our concerns, and prioritise the investment we desperately need.

This is our chance to make our voices heard and push for real change. Together, we can shine a light on Waverley’s struggles and demand the attention we deserve.
